DESIGN

Built for Real-World Demands

The Bushman was created to meet the countless situations I’ve found myself in over a lifetime of living, working, and surviving outdoors. Born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and seasoned through military service and harsh climates, I needed a single knife that could handle large-game processing yet stay nimble for small game and fish. From hunting and fishing for survival to homesteading, raising livestock, gardening, and foraging, I needed a slicer that could glide through meat and vegetables but still be tough enough to dig, pry, and bore when the job demanded it.

A Workhorse for the Trades

My life has been spent fixing, building, and repairing everything with moving parts. Whether it was cutting gasket material with greasy hands, stripping wire on job sites, scoring sheetrock, prying boards, removing trim, or cutting flooring and shims, I needed a knife that wouldn’t slip or weaken. That’s why I engineered the Bushman with a wide drop point blade for strength, a shaving-sharp geometry, and a full-handed contoured grip that locks into your palm with or without gloves. Balanced perfectly, it can be used all day without fatigue and delivers absolute control even in the worst conditions.

Designed for Combat and Survival

As a US Marine, I needed a blade capable of real defensive work, but it also had to excel in camp, on the homestead, and in the shop. Built from .165 thick high carbon steel and heat treated in house to exacting standards, the Bushman is dual tempered for extreme durability and edge retention. The full tang construction and reinforced tip allow for chopping, splitting, prying, and boring through wood, while the NiB T1C coating gives it the toughest finish in the industry. The Bushman is the knife I always wished existed; so I made it.
