V3

The V3 takes the legacy of the Gideon series and evolves it into a faster, stronger, and more capable fighting and utility blade. Built on the proven Night platform with a razor sharp reverse edge, a reinforced ring system, and a spike, it delivers unmatched retention, durability, and cutting performance. With the industry leading NiB coating, ergonomic comfort in every grip, and a slim ambidextrous sheath, the V3 is engineered to become a permanent extension of your hand and a trusted tool for life.

The V3 is based on our Nightstalker grip, with the first 2 inches of the reverse edge sharpened to a 30 degree edge.

We used our famed Night handle platform to create the V3. It is .165" thick blade heat treated to our exacting standards. Our triple temper and deep cryogenics make this blade nearly indestructible. Backed by our 'Life Of The Knife' guarantee. The V3 is a true warrior's blade. Every detail has been carefully thought out and designed to provide you ultimate usability and comfort. The grip with integral finger ring and eye pick has internal rounding for extreme comfort in all carry positions, tip up, tip down with or without your finger in the ring. The V3 becomes part of your hand, prevents dropping or being disarmed with the finger ring that NOW features a spike/glass breaker. Further locking you onto your knife the blade has an integral thumb rest with aggressive jimping. The trailing point style fighter blade, features a full blade length swedge with the first 2 inches is razor sharp to increase cutting and piercing ability. The Gideon is supremely comfortable, fast, balanced to feel light but built to take on anything or anyone. Our proprietary NiB T1C (Nickle Boron) is the first and only in the industry. Our revolutionary ambidextrous sheath is secure, slim line for easy concealment, and can be worn necklace carry as well.

First Proper Fixed Blade

"I’ve accumulated various knives and pocket knives throughout my life, few I’d consider EDC-worthy, and not really any of them a fixed blade. So when I came across something with the panache, functionality, and high quality of TKELL’s Gideon V3, I knew that had to be my first quality, fixed blade buy. It and TKell have not disappointed. Customer service answered all my questions and helped get me set up with a Gideon blem since the regular batch was sold out. It came in the mail a week ago and I haven’t been able to leave it alone for more than half a day. It’s incredibly sharp, it feels incredible in my big man-hands (I’m 6’ 4”), and it’s fairly inconspicuous when I wear it sheathed beneath my clothes. I’ve dropped it once (so far) and not a dent or scratch appeared anywhere on it. If you can get your hands on this knife when the next batch comes through, I highly recommend grabbing one for yourself!"

CQBEDC Perfection!

"As a serious knife enthusiast I gotta say, the Gideon is absolute perfection. It melts into my hand and the profile is slim but also slicey and has the right amount of length. I carry static line IWB so it's super comfortable. With the blade and eye pick, it's just a beautiful self defense tool. This is the knife that first drew me to TKell and I bought several other of their knives before this one came back around in rotation. I am NOT disappointed!"

Takes everything you throw at it. d asks for more!

"On the way to work yesterday I picked up a salvage tag for a Kansas Whitetail. He was heavy enough to get about 80lb of meat after being hit by an SUV. I used my Gideon V3 and a small bird and trout knife. 98% of the work was done with the Gideon. IT DID NOT SLOW DOWN AT ALL!!! I processed a deer in its entirety without having to sharpen or even touch up the blade . It literally cut just as good as when I started. Kell’s customer service is the best I’ve found."

Best Company in the Business!

"First of many reviews to come. As a Combat Veteran and current LEO, I put blades to the test. My EDC blade (SOG) finally gave up after years of solid work. Perfection Once Again

"I just received the Gideon V3 today. It was a barely blemished blade. I've wanted this knife for a long time and when the opportunity came, I jumped on it. I'm a bit OCD and I went over every inch of this knife and couldn't find a single thing wrong with it. I guess that is because TKell's quality control is extremely thorough. Like all their knives, this one is just awesome. Extremely well made and razor sharp out of the box. I feel like I'm repeating myself but if you are considering buying one of their knives, just go for it. You wont be disappointed. The pictures don't do it justice. The feel of their knives in your hand are just exceptional. And you can call or email with any questions or requests and they will get right back to you if they don't answer on the first call. It's a family owned business that really cares deeply about their customers satisfaction, wants and needs. I will be buying more of their knives in the future."

"Came finished perfectly and razor sharp. The purple burl handles are beautiful and the blade finish looks great. Totally worth the price and wait. Been messing around with it and the edge geometry is great, stropping should keep it razor sharp. AEB-L is a cool material as well as having an interesting history."
