Born from SOCOM Aviation Roots

The TS-87 Tactical Screwdriver traces its lineage back to SOCOM Aviation in 1987. Without SOCOM’s adoption of the Dillon Aero M134D Gatlin Gun, the TS-87 would never have existed. It was created to solve a simple but critical problem in the field. Armament and Crew Chiefs needed a reliable “Big Freaking Screwdriver” (BFS) that could survive the rigors of aviation and weapons maintenance. The TS-87 was developed by Tim Kell of T. Kell Knives (USMC), Imri Morgenstern (IDF Operator), and Dillon Aero M134D expert Torben “Torbenski” Gilbert of the U.S. Army. Built for setting up guns, clearing jams, maintaining weapon systems, prepping aircraft, prying doors, and supporting ground forces, it is the multi-tool that belongs on every warfighter’s belt and in every blue-collar tradesman’s kit.

In true T.Kell fashion, the TS-87 includes features that other tools overlooked. The industry first bit attachment point uses a detent ball to prevent bits from falling out during hard use. Its integrated ring provides outstanding retention and solves the torque problem found in narrow-handled tools. Solid Tool!

"Absolute beast of a screwdriver, I carried and played with it for days. I did end up grinding the loop and bit holder off, to the contour of the handle, this suited my needs much better( I think you should make that design an option) I also rounded the edges of the handle to make it more friendly, while keeping the divots you had in place, game changer for me in comfort. I recommend your screwdriver whole heartedly as an edc assist tool. Way to innovate T KELL KNIVES."

Great Tool!

"The TS-87 is AWESOME! I use it constantly at work. Wearing a knife is frowned upon so this is the perfect middle ground. I open pallets and crates and it is perfect for these tasks. Even opening taped boxes, the tip is sharp enough to cut the tape without worrying about damaging the contents of the box. Fit and finish is just about flawless. Bilt super tough and has a well thought out scabbard and attachment system."
