The Nightguard 2.0 is a response to the overwhelming request for the Nightguard with a more traditional grind. We use the exact same profile as the Nightguard, we kept the swedges, added a high grind primary bevel and what came out is a NASTY wharncliffe. The traditional Wharncliffe has the tendency to have a brittle tip, we added the swedges allowing the tip to be thinner but maintain a very strong tip. This rethinking blade uses and the departure form the traditions of blade design is part what has made Tim Kell a pioneer in the blade industry. The Nightguard 2.0 is just the next in the T. Kell lineup of world class fixed blades that raise the bar of what an EDC CCW fixed blade can be.

Like the original Nightguard, the 2.0 is a T.Kell twist on the Wharncliffe blade with some Reverse Tanto and pikal stylings thrown in. The Nightguard 2.0 has a dead flat typical edge that creates extremely deep cuts. Made from .165 thick steel there's nothing you can throw at the Nightguard 2.0 that it can't handle. Made on our famous Night series handle platform it has a secure ring grip that locks you to the knife in forward or reverse grip, and allows for maximum comfort and blade retention with the perfectly contoured grips. Plated in the most durable blade coating on earth, our exclusive  Nickel Boron with Recon Distressed finish to provide a nearly indestructible blade coating that is so low in friction it flies thru cuts while protecting your blade from corrosion.
